Job Summary
To provide support to the Accounts team by handling routine accounting tasks such as processing transactions,
maintaining records, and assisting with reconciliations to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to perform a variety of accounting duties, including but not limited
to:
- Posting invoice payments,
- Maintaining accounting ledgers
- Assisting with receivables collections
- Reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining records and efficient filing systems
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly final accounts
- Assisting with audits
- Cashier relief
- Performing other related duties as required to support the efficient operation of the department
Required Education, Skills and Experience
- Pursuing ACCA (level 1) or a Bachelor of Science in Accounting
- Six O-Level subjects, including English and Mathematics, Grades I and II only
- Three to five years’ experience in an Accounts department working with computerised accounting
software
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a team player
- The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Good organisation, time management and administrative skills
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and use initiative
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and Outlook
- Strong customer service orientation
