Experience:

David joined the firm on 1st September, 1966 after his graduation as an articled clerk. He was admitted to practice on November 24, 1969 and became an Associate of the firm. He was admitted to partnership on May 14, 1971.

His practice covers all aspects of corporate and commercial law, in particular, the establishment of large commercial and industrial projects, including the preparation and approval of material project contracts, project financing joint ventures, takeovers, land development projects, insurance and corporate governance. David renders general corporate and commercial advice and advice on environmental issues. He also acts for both lenders and borrowers in a range of transactions in banking and finance.

David has been a director of private and publicly listed Trinidad and Tobago companies, including Ansa McAl Limited. He continues to be a director of Tatil Life Assurance Limited. He has acted as presenter/panellist at seminars and workshops arranged by clients for their staff and members of the public.

David retired as a partner of the firm at the end of 2018 and continues as a Consultant.

He is a member of the Law Association of Trinidad and Tobago.
